Trust and Obey

And Jesus said to her, "Woman, what does this have to do with me? My hour has not yet come." His mother said to the servants, "Do whatever he tells you." - John 2:4-5

In this brief exchange between Jesus and Mary, we see Jesus establishing a distance between him and his mother by addressing her as "woman." Although Mary does not fully understand his statement, she continues to trust Jesus by telling the servants to "do whatever he tells you." 

Saints of The Well Church, let us trust Jesus and do whatever he tells us, even if it does not make sense. What is Jesus asking you to do today? 

Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
and do not lean on your own understanding.

In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make straight your paths. - Proverbs 3:5–6
