Our Salvation

That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born again.' The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit."

We cannot earn our salvation no matter how hard we try. Scripture teaches us,

And they cried out in a loud voice: "Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb." - Revelation 7:10

Just as we had nothing to do with our natural births, we have nothing to do with our spiritual ones. It is only through the Spirit we become children of God. The Holy Spirit works in ways we cannot predict or understand. Salvation is a gift from God that is irrevocable (Romans 11:29).

The Well Church, let us give thanks to our God for the grace, love, and mercy that he poured upon us.

And from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace. - John 1:16
