Find Peace
Truly, truly, I say to you, we speak of what we know, and bear witness to what we have seen, but you do not receive our testimony. - John 3:11
Jesus is the truth, and the bible contains the absolute truth. In Ephesians 1:13, the Apostle Paul writes,
"In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit."
Churches must be grounded in biblical truth today, mainly when the world is basing its belief in science, philosophy, and other religions.
In today's text, Jesus explains to Nicodemos that he speaks the truth and is trustworthy. However, he does not believe in Jesus' witness. In other words, he failed to recognize Jesus as God.
Dear Church, do you believe that Jesus is Christ, the Son of the living God? Let us remember that Jesus is our peace. Let us find rest in him today by trusting in him and his word, especially during this busy and chaotic holiday season.
