Where is God?

Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit” —James 4:13

Where is God in your life?

Many believers worship God about one hour a week on Sundays. What about the rest of the week? He is absent from our lives between Sundays, whether when making crucial decisions, navigating through complicated difficulties, or rejoicing and celebrating recent achievements.

Brothers and sisters, we are frail and limited, not knowing what tomorrow will bring. We could not plan for a global pandemic that is still crippling our world. Therefore, let’s not leave God out of our plans. Let us make sure that He is the center of our lives. Take heed to the following teaching of Proverbs.

“Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring.” — Proverbs 27:1

God is in control — let us trust and obey.
