Sleepless Nights

"In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety." — Psalm 4:8

In a Johns Hopkins study, 44 percent of adults said that stress caused sleepless nights at least once in the past month. When you feel tired, you feel more stressed the next day, which puts you in a cycle of stress and insomnia.

While David was anxious and stressed, he was able to BOTH lied down and sleep in peace. How was he able to break the cycle of stress and insomnia? He did it by placing his trust in God.

Are you feeling stressed today? Are you not able to sleep? Brothers and sisters, let us trust in God and dwell in safety. He will give you peace and keep you safe.

"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid." — John 14:27
