God First

When you offer blind animals in sacrifice, is that not evil? And when you offer those that are lame or sick, is that not evil? Present that to your governor; will he accept you or show you favor? says the LORD of hosts. — Malachi 1:8

Do you give your very best to God? Through the prophet Malachi, God reveals the condition of the heart of not only the priests but also His people. They were saving the best for themselves and giving the leftovers to God. In other words, God was not their priority, and serving God was a duty.

People of The Well, serving God must be our number one priority. The first commandment states,

"I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. You shall have no other gods before me." — Exodus 20:2–3

Let us make sure that we make our relationship with God our priority through our Lord Jesus Christ. It begins with prayer and spending time in the Word.
