Fear the LORD
"They shall be mine, says the LORD of hosts, in the day when I make up my treasured possession, and I will spare them as a man spares his son who serves him. Then once more you shall see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve him." - Malachi 3:17-18
Malachi highlights that those who fear the LORD belong to Him. This biblical truth should give great confidence to those who fear Him. To fear God is to revere Him, obey His commandments, and worship Him wholeheartedly.
"Now this is the commandment—the statutes and the rules—that the LORD your God commanded me to teach you, that you may do them in the land to which you are going over, to possess it, that you may fear the LORD your God, you and your son and your son's son, by keeping all his statutes and his commandments, which I command you, all the days of your life, and that your days may be long. Hear therefore, O Israel, and be careful to do them, that it may go well with you, and that you may multiply greatly, as the LORD, the God of your fathers, has promised you, in a land flowing with milk and honey." - Deuteronomy 6:1–3
The Well Church, let us fear God, knowing that we belong to Him and that we are His treasured possession. Jesus is enough, amen?
