Fullness of God

[1] And Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit in the wilderness [2] for forty days, being tempted by the devil. And he ate nothing during those days. And when they were ended, he was hungry. - Luke 4:1-2

Are you filled with the Holy Spirit? Luke mentions that Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit before going into the wilderness. To be filled with the Spirit is to be full of God's desires. The Apostle Paul writes,

"And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit." - Ephesians 5:18

When the Holy Spirit fills us, we are guided and empowered by the Spirit. So instead of being filled with our desires, let us claim the fullness of God in prayer.
