His Kingdom

I will tell of the decree: The LORD said to me, "You are my Son; today I have begotten you. Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage, and the ends of the earth your possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron and dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel." - Psalm 2:7-9

In today's text, God's Son speaks about his inheritance and responsibility. Isaiah 9:7 anticipates the kingdom God's Son will possess.

"His government and its peace will never end. He will rule with fairness and justice from the throne of his ancestor David for all eternity. The passionate commitment of the LORD of Heaven's Armies will make this happen!" (NLT).

The King will break and shatter the nations under rebellion. They will sit under His authority and judgment when He returns to earth to establish His kingdom.

The Well Church, as we are under the authority of Christ, let us continue to live out our faith by remembering our Savior Jesus Christ is the King of kings and Lord of lords. Let us place our trust in Him alone. Let us worship Him!
