Kiss the Son
"Now therefore, O kings, be wise; be warned, O rulers of the earth. Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and you perish in the way, for his wrath is quickly kindled. Blessed are all who take refuge in him." - Psalm 2:10-12
What does it mean to "Kiss the Son" in Psalm 2:12? In the original context, it means to do homage. It means to submit or obey. It is an act of showing reverence and respect.
In today's context, God's people must show allegiance to Christ, the Son of God, by honoring Him through worship, praise, and adoration. Salvation is found only through our Lord Jesus Christ.
"And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." - Acts 4:12
Let us worship our Lord Jesus Christ with praise and adoration. Kiss the Son!
