Praise

For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; he is to be feared above all gods.
For all the gods of the peoples are worthless idols, but the LORD made the heavens.
Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and beauty are in his sanctuary. - Psalm 96:4-6

Who do you go to when you are in trouble? What gives you comfort when you are in pain? Many turn to the internet, food, alcohol, or other substances that temporarily satisfy during times of crisis.

Today's psalm reminds us that we serve a mighty God who is worthy to be praised. He, who created the heavens, must be above anything that gives us temporary pleasure. God must be above all things!

The Well Church, let us declare that God is above all things. Let us give Him our very best today. He is worthy of all praise.
