Joy

But let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them ever sing for joy, and spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may exult in you. For you bless the righteous, O LORD; you cover him with favor as with a shield. - Psalm 5:11-12

Do you have joy? David concludes his psalm by expressing the joy that comes from having faith in God. The faithful will always rejoice in the LORD. The LORD will cover and protect them, no matter their circumstance. The Apostle Paul commands believers to rejoice. He says,

"Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice." - Philippians 4:4

How can we rejoice when our world is falling apart? The answer lies in today's psalm -- we must take refuge in the LORD by placing our trust in Him.

Brothers and sisters of The Well Church, let us experience God's pure joy by knowing Him. Let us confidently approach Him today. He is our refuge and our strength. Let us rejoice!
