Samaritans
The Samaritan woman said to him, "How is it that you, a Jew, ask for a drink from me, a woman of Samaria?" (For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.) - John 4:9
Jews mainly despised Samaritans for not being pure, and they did not speak in public, especially between men and women. John explains that Jews had no "dealings" with Samaritans. What is remarkable is that Jesus not only speaks to the Samaritan woman and asks for a drink, and Jesus reaches out to the Samaritan woman and associates with her.
Brothers and sisters, Jesus knows no boundaries, and he calls his people to reach out and associate with those who need to hear the gospel. Who are the Samaritans in your life? As Jesus demonstrates, go and share your life and the gospel with them.
"Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation." - Mark 16:15b
