I am the door

So Jesus again said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. - John 10:7-10

Jesus makes the third of seven "I am" statements in today's text by declaring, "I am the door." Salvation is possible only through Jesus Christ, and there is no other way. 

Salvation belongs to the Lord;
    your blessing be on your people! Selah - Psalm 3:8

Dear Church, remember that Jesus is the only way to salvation. As children of God, let us trust in His word and reject the lies of the world. What lies are tempting you today? When temptation calls, look to Christ and pray for strength, protection, and deliverance. May the LORD bless you and keep you as you follow Him.
