Priorities

Meanwhile the disciples were urging him, saying, "Rabbi, eat." But he said to them, "I have food to eat that you do not know about." - John 4:31-32

What are your priorities? Is it to satisfy your physical and personal needs first? When the disciples returned to Jesus with food, their primary concern was that Jesus would eat and rest during a long journey. Although there is nothing wrong with satisfying our needs, many ignore their spiritual needs and focus only on physical conditions. Jesus teaches us,

"And do not seek what you are to eat and what you are to drink, nor be worried. For all the nations of the world seek after these things, and your Father knows that you need them. Instead, seek his kingdom, and these things will be added to you." - Luke 12:29-31

The Well Church, as we begin our work week, let us not only focus on our own needs but let us seek God's kingdom first. Let us live by God's standards. What is one change you can make today to put his kingdom first?
