Daily Bread

And he humbled you and let you hunger and fed you with manna, which you did not know, nor did your fathers know, that he might make you know that man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD. - Deuteronomy 8:3

Scripture is clear on many things, and one of the promises recorded is that God provides for his people. In today's text, we learn that God provided manna to his people as a sign of his love and care. It is also a reminder that we must depend on him for provision and trust in his word as God's people.
