Last Sayings of Jesus (2)

Jesus' second saying is only recorded in Luke's gospel. 

And he said to him, "Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise."
- Luke 23:43

When one of the criminals crucified with Jesus confessed, "Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom" (Luke 23:42), he not only pleaded for help, he confessed his faith in Jesus.

For "everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
- Romans 10:13

Dear Church, let us remember the price Jesus paid for the salvation of all who calls on his name. God is faithful and fulfills all his promises. As you meditate on today's text, focus on every word in his promise.
