Are you ready to face Jesus?
"I can do nothing on my own. As I hear, I judge, and my judgment is just, because I seek not my own will but the will of him who sent me."
- John 5:30
Just as Jesus is love, he is also perfectly just. When he comes to judge, he will show no favoritism, "for God shows no partiality” (Romans 2:11).

Scripture asserts that "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God," and "the wages of sin is death" (Romans 3:23; 6:23). However, Jesus declared in John 5:24 that whoever believes in him "does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life."
Brothers and sisters, we can face our just God because our sin was imputed to Christ, and his righteousness was imputed to us when he died on the cross. During this Lenten season, let us reflect on God's love that he poured out for us when he died for us on the cross.
"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
- Romans 5:8
