A friend loves at all times,
and a brother is born for adversity. - Proverbs 17:17

How many friends do you have?

With the popularity of social media and our online presence, many have forgotten the true meaning of friendship with being an acquaintance with someone. The most significant evidence of genuine friendship is loyalty and commitment, but too many are fair-weather friends or simply transactional.

What kind of friend are you? As we look to the cross, remember that Jesus calls us friends, and he is always with us.

No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you. - John 15:15

As Jesus is our friend, let us be the kind of true friend Jesus calls us to be.
