Community

Then the LORD God said, "It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him." - Genesis 2:18

"I need help" is a simple phrase yet very difficult for some of us to say. We are such capable and successful beings that asking for help has become a sign of weakness. We want to care for our problems with our strength, wisdom, resources, and will, leading us to be individualistic and isolated. God, however, had a different plan for us, and he designed us to live in a community from the beginning.

The Well Church, as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are in community, God calls us to be a community that cares for each other, and we are not to live in isolation from one another. Let us set aside our pride and urge to be isolated and be the church that God calls us to be. What is holding you back from being the church?
