Come and Believe

But I said to you that you have seen me and yet do not believe. - John 6:36

In today's verse, Jesus rebukes all who have seen Jesus and yet do not believe in him. The miracles of healing and feeding were not His mission, and he came to seek and save the lost (Luke 19:10). The miracles do no good for the people if they reject the gospel. And yet people come to Jesus to satisfy their desires alone.

The Well Church, why do you seek Jesus? Let us remember Jesus' words from yesterday's devotional.

Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst." - John 6:35

He calls us to come and believe. May He sustain you today and satisfy your longing to know Him.
