Don't Delay

Jesus then said, "I will be with you a little longer, and then I am going to him who sent me. You will seek me and you will not find me. Where I am you cannot come." - John 7:33-34

People often wonder what the deadline is for repentance to go to heaven. They want the best of both worlds -- enjoy life here on earth and then continue to enjoy life in heaven. Although the plan sounds great, there is a fundamental flaw with it. One cannot "enjoy" life without God and continue to do so with Him in heaven. The eternal life that Jesus promises is one of quality, not quantity, independent of time. Thus, we should view eternal life as what Christians experience here on earth, and it begins the moment one accepts Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. For believers, Jesus prepares a room for them.

In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? - John 14:2

Dear Church, be confident knowing that Jesus Christ is preparing a room for all believers in heaven.

As Jesus warns that there is not much time left to seek Him, let us share the good news of Jesus Christ with those around us before it is too late. Who needs to hear the gospel message? Let us pray for them and share the good news without delay.

And he said to them, "Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation. - Mark 16:15
