Thy Word

How can a young man keep his way pure?
By guarding it according to your word.
With my whole heart I seek you;
let me not wander from your commandments!
PSALM 119:9-10

Living out our faith is a crucial aspect of our relationship with God as Christians. In Psalm 119:9-10, we are guided on how to live out our faith in a way that pleases God. These verses highlight the significance of following God's word and living a pure and righteous life in His eyes. The psalmist acknowledges the challenges of staying on the path of purity, which still applies to us in the twenty-first century, who face various temptations and distractions. However, by seeking God with all our hearts and following His commands, we can remain steadfast in our commitment to a life of righteousness.

One practical way to live out our faith, as highlighted in Psalm 119:9-10, is to study and meditate on God's word. The Bible is how God reveals Himself and His will to us. As we study and meditate on God's word, we gain a deeper understanding of who God is, what He expects from us, and how we can live out our faith in a way that honors Him.

With the season of Lent beginning this Wednesday, we invite you to join us for our Thursday night gatherings in Bergen County to study God's word. We believe that it will be an excellent opportunity to grow in our understanding of God's word and connect with other believers meaningfully. If you are interested in joining us, please email us at jay@wellowrship.church. We hope to see you there!
